I picked up my White/White on Thursday 5/9 and *knock on wood* there was no visible defects or issues. I checked everything based on what other members suggested and nothing triggered my OCD.
The delivery process was painful, there's complete lack of communication but once you get a hold of someone at delivery, things get better (or maybe it was the sight of my new car). They were able to accommodate an earlier delivery (couple of hours) since we had a road trip planned.

Spoiler and badge were installed.
Phone cable and NEMA adapter are no longer included with the car which I find bizarre.

That's good to hear you got your white/white. I ordered mine about 2 weeks after you so I hope to be getting an update soon. Enjoy!

That’s disheartening. I ordered the same configuration as you (white/white) but almost 3 weeks before on 3/30.... and still have yet to be assigned a VIN or hear any updates.

I was in a rental for a couple weeks, but Tesla did eventually come through (about a month from order to delivery). The waiting wasn’t much fun, but the car sure is!
My old car got totaled (a garbage truck ran over the front end), so I have been in several rentals over the past 6 weeks. If I would have known it would take this long I would have chosen a different car. I hope the wait is worth it.

Funny thing - I was able to get my delivery center on the phone first try today (and again later when I called to follow up on something), and my delivery specialist was actually trying to push my car on me. I'm scheduled for this Friday and wanted to see what the next available date was, and they told me it's coming to the dealership today, and can they deliver tomorrow. For a variety of reasons Im not available until Saturday at the earliest, and when they heard that they started pushing me to release my allocation and put in for a different one. Hold on. Contract states I have a week from proposed delivery. They grudgingly accepted that, but didn't seem keen on even waiting until Monday, so we setup for Saturday even though it's gonna be hectic for me. All in all it really just seems like they are extremely overworked, and I feel pretty badly for them.

Still, I'm going to shut up now and commiserate with all you fine people that have been waiting for so long for your car. Guess I just picked a really common build. I can completely appreciate folks wanting to hold the line on getting their preferred color combo; havingha color that doesn't quite suit is the kind of thing that will eat at you.

Very possible. However after getting headquarters involved, things moved faster. These delivery centers, some not ALL, are horrible. They are lazy and just brush things off. Headquarters said, everything they said is wrong and why they should have done it. Add autopilot to my car as it’s included. They did directly from HQ engineering And the updated firmware download and bam it was done. They were upset that the delivery center gave such poor service. So they can do right it’s just the people that should do things are doing them because of piss poor management. But hope it all works out for you

Yeah. The service afterwards was pretty decent so far, but I imagine it's a bit different to get major work done. I took my car in today to have the spoiler adjusted since it was a bit loose and not very firmly attached on one side. The guy just installed a brand new one, so no complaints.

I ordered 11 days ago and got my final invoice 2 days ago (Delivery in Norway, Blue/White P, VIN321xxx). I think the VIN is pretty high compared to the cars registered this days. You guys who already have picked up your cars, what are your vin nr starting on?

Wow I guess they’re not kidding when they said they were phasing it out. Well enjoy that machine.

They’re not done in sequential order but mine is a 259, and I have a late April build with Hardware 3. So it can vary widely. Congrats on the car.

393260. Looking at US inventory, it looks like they cranked off about 10 of my build spec in a row (256-265 or so). Highest vin I see in inventory looks like 393678. The block of higher numbers all look to be performance models, so I suspect they clump them by spec, not build date.
