Hi friends!! I wanted to inform that I finally took delivery of my P3D White/White unicorn!! Car was in perfect condition way better fit and finish than my 2018 LR RWD.

For all of you guys waiting impatiently, hold on there. I can confirm the wait was worth it 100%!!

Reservation date: 5/5
Delivery date: 6/4

So awesome!! What a beauty!!! Congrats and you got the spoiler installed. Nice!
 
You can’t leave this hanging, thoughts after 10 months of ownership?

Probably the best purchase I've ever made in terms of product satisfaction.

Things I really like: performance and effortless agility, simplicity, design, constant SW updates and improvements, comfort (seats), size (right for me), steering, autopilot, charge @ home convenience, audio system, Tesla app, free unlimited SC.

I really love how I can switch between having a blast driving, or taking the burden off by switching into autopilot (equally fun driving vs not).

Beautiful, can’t wait to get mine. I’m good to go. I had to reschedule my delivery for Saturday, June 15 since my car will not make it June 8 and I am booked at the office. I don’t understand if they are trying to improve deliveries, service center only open between 10 AM to 5 PM, that will not expedite the process faster for many of us. That’s why I have to wait A Couple more days and hopefully won’t have to deal with the car being delayed, etc. I have already waited over eight weeks, couple more days at this point don’t make a difference, so far I haven’t Read anyone going to pick up a nonexistent car or unavailable car however has happened in the past. Congratulations again and anyone picking up update us with the delivery process.

Just took delivery at Tempe location. I called and asked if I could do it today instead of Friday and they had an open slot at 3:00.
I spent a fair amount of time looking closely and did not find any issues with paint or any other fit/finish.

Good news: Homelink is installed !

2 minor items:
1). They are sold out of 14-50 adapters. Online store sold out, too. Plugged into Level 1 in my garage and getting 5 MPH while I wait on 14-50 adapter.

2) They did not have the Slacker credentials and I am waiting on email from customer support.

Do they let you know what the actual build date was? I'm curious what your build date is. This gives me hope that i won't have to turn my car down due to paint, fit or finish issues.

Amazing experience.

Arrived for my 430pm appointment around 4:10. They took us to the back where all the cars where staged. Waited about 10 mins, checked out merch a got some water. Saw my car. Went and verified vin and started checking it out. Looked amazing. Rep came up started the process. Paperwork was on only 4 signatures. She showed my wife the operations of the car. Set up her driver profile. So smooth and everything was awesome and everyone was nice and helpful.

Went over the car, pretty much perfect. A small scuff on the rear passengers edge. I was about to buff it off with my finger. Everything else looked great. Bought a home charger and left for an amazing canyon drive home to Temecula.

Holy crap this thing is insane!!! Planted and so fast. Wow!!!!! Worth any wait time.
 
Delivery yesterday 6/6 for my red/white FSD. Ordered 5/8, got VIN on Monday 6/3.

Delivery to my house - preferred factory since I live 20 mins away but was never given an option during the process. A mechanical engineer from the semi-truck design team delivered it (cool) - she drove it, dropped it off, and Uber’d back. Thought this was kind of funny but shows the Q2 push. She got a call that morning that “the design team is delivering cars today.” Sorry no juicy insider semi nuggets.

One tiny minor nick near the headlight on the front, otherwise perfect. Might not even have the nick addressed. Included Homelink, dual motor badge, spoiler, floor mats (in a bag in the trunk) and (thank goodness) no front plate attached (but mount included). I’m told HW3 but no way to confirm? Super cheap that they don’t give you USB phone cords or the NEMA 14-50.

The build quality of this thing is orders of magnitude better !! than my Jan. 2018 VIN 0018xx Model 3. Wow. The white and red are both stunning. The pick-up is bonkers.

As with everyone else communication was poor. Got a call right away from my sales specialist upon order and he addressed questions along the way which was great. But he went dark after VIN assignment and don’t even know who my delivery specialist was. Can’t count the number of times I received conflicting information on stuff like if Homelink is there, will the spoiler be attached, what is required for the loan, etc.

Got bad info from him on what was required for my USAA loan, USAA overnighted a loan check that arrived hours before delivery (insert 2 days of sweating here).

My little kid’s summary: “Oooo this car is so pretty. And it’s fun fast it makes me want to barf a little.”
