8/3 ordered Model 3 Performance, White/White FSD - I was told last week that the process takes about "4 weeks give or take" - they tried to match me with existing inventory but nothing was available except "Sleepers" - there were dozens available in FL/GA area.

I would have waited to place the order if I knew their "within 2 weeks" estimate was just for marketing, I will be out of the country at the 4 week mark...

I ordered my Model 3 Performance, White paint, Black/White interior on August 8. It'll be delivered to the Roswell, GA service center. I've just read through all of these posts and am coming to realize the estimated delivery of "2 weeks" on the Tesla website might be a tad optimistic :)
Looks like it depends on the luck of the draw (i.e. when Tesla makes your combination of colors and model). For example, I ordered my 3P+ blue-on-white on 7/9 and picked up the car at Roswell on 7/22, just 13 days. I had expected 4 weeks, so I didn't have a wall connector installed at that point.

Congratulations! Any feedback on the delivery experience at the Roswell service center?

I actually had a Wall Connector installed on Monday, Aug. 12. Every time I walk past it in my garage, I sense the absence of my future Model 3 :)

So far, here's my story:
  • Aug. 8 - ordered Model 3 white / white, Performance edition online. It said my eventual delivery would be to the Roswell, GA service center.
  • Aug. 9 - called local electrician, who visited the same day and provided Wall Connector estimate.
  • Aug. 12 - electrician installed Wall Connector in my garage.
  • Aug. 13 - received 1st email from my Tesla "delivery specialist," who said "I've looked over your account for accuracy and it all looks good. We are just now waiting on a vin." I replied to ask if it was too late to provide a referral code; he wrote "Let me add that for you. If I'm able too." No further replies.
  • Aug. 14 - ordered all-weather cargo mats for rear & front trunk, and all weather floor liners, from Tesla online store. FedEx says delivery date will be Aug. 21. Also ordered Nomad wireless charger for Model 3 from Nomad website; it's back-ordered, and says "expected ship date: August 21st."
That's it. No VIN, no further communication yet. I check my Tesla page every day :)
