The performance is 30% more than the sr+ not 100% more.

exaggeration but performance plus FSD plus a color that is not white is expensive. If go to Tesla today and buy fully loaded 3 its over 70k with taxes

Actually I suspect 99% of the driving public does not have any idea what the red calipers mean. To me the more subtle the better. Don't need to advertise mine costs more or is faster then someone else's. Only care if I enjoy what I have.

I’m pretty sure this has been debunked several times on this forum by members posting and comparing part numbers.

Well, for example some CPUs hit 5ghz super easy while others struggle to hit it. They have the same part number. We can’t expect all electric motors to have the same outputs, unless the motors aren’t the limitations factors, maybe the inverters are binned and tested for max throughout with in a certain heat tolerance.

We basically know more amps are being drawn form the battery or the motors have less resistance to allow for a faster 0-60. I’m pretty sure the inverters and batteries are getting close to their max discharge limit, so it’s pretty likely that one of the components in that chain is binned.

I only rented a p3d through turo..never actually test drove. After 24 hours..I got back into my tacoma and it felt like the parking brake was still engaged. It was working so hard just to do anything, Poor ole guy ..(he is a 2017)

It's a Model 3 that looks like a base, but is LR with a performance software update.

CA has the state rebate program changing on December 3rd. If I am reading this correctly, it doesn't look like the Performance Model 3 will qualify for the rebate anymore. MSRP is greater then $60K

Stealth mainly doesn't have 20" wheels, calipers etc. Stealth look like a base model with the Aero wheels, but LR AWD with performance upgrade.
