was at the raleigh store this morning..saw a bunch of new performances waiting in the storage lot off premises
and as I was driving out, a truck with more model 3s was driving in..one gray on white perfomance on it

on a side note I found out that my car is somehow still waiting for a train in CA..

Heres to hoping us west coast people get VINs this week
I've been doing about 3-5 hours of reading a day in regard to my Tesla delivery time. I checked other's numbers on the tesla tracking spreadsheet, and called multiple different tesla specialists. Every thing I've been digesting is telling me to expect my vin in the next 5-8 business days with delivery in the next 13-15 business days. I ordered mine on 12/3 and have a pretty high confidence with data to back it of a delivery around Christmas. So west coasts vins this week? I'm thinking we will!... but you are in the slowest state for delivery - rip. (All my specialists have confirmed delivery for this year... so even if that's as late as 12/31, we'll be ok!)

How the hell do I still not have a VIN with a 10/31 order date and multiple promises I'd be getting it momentarily the entire time. I am getting worried.

I’m sorry for whoever promised you momentarily but a lot of us with October orders, especially around the time of the grey wheel change and $2500 deposit change on the 16th, are still waiting but are optimistic those orders should start being fulfilled early in the night Monday morning.

One point of clarification I received yesterday on paying the final amount. The sales manager told me I could just do that step on my phone during delivery. I think I will. That way I won't have to wait for that check to clear.

I'm picking up my car in a few hours. It's interesting that my first payment isn't due until one month out, 1/23. I'm paying as soon as I get the account info from US Bank, but just sharing what I know now.

I'm in long island, we may be some of the last to get delivery dates. My pickup is Manhasset, NY in Nassau, not sure which borough you're in or what pickup location you have.
I’m in Staten Island, I got my vin last night right before I was about to sleep at 12am. I refreshed the page and it was there. I thought I was seeing things but no, i can confirm New York should be getting theirs soon. Also ordered on 28th of November for the Van Brunt location. Yours should be coming soon

I’m 10/24 order date, I would have my car by now if I had been in the east coast...

My buddy just got a brand new white stealth performance. He’s pretty confident he’s the smarter one with the money he saved. However, when I get my Grey Performance, I want to do a series if videos putting the two cars in side-by-side tests. Hopefully, it will help answer some of the questions about the what’s the better buy. Even if it’s only “curb-side” visual appeal, I’ll be pretty happy with my purchase and the price.

I actually have a pickup date now! 12/20 :)
Ayee, that’s what’s up! I guess we’re not the last people. I was so hyped when I saw it. I hope to get a date of delivery soon too!

I’m surprised all East coast is starting to get vins and deliveries. That must mean west coast is the 2nd half of December then.

The difference is pretty simple: If you want bigger wheels/tires, bigger calipers, and lower ride, then the P+ is what you want. If you don’t care about that stuff, only what the speed, and plan on keeping it stock, the stealth is a great choice.

P- buyers who plan to upgrade those three and think they’re going to save money might be in for a surprise. They’re also giving Tesla an EASY out on any future warranty claims for parts associated with the modification.

They could see non OEM parts and void the warranty. They’ll be at the mercy of the SC.

This is common knowledge for people who have been in the car game for a while and know this is the part of the risk with modifying. But I don’t think a lot of people picking up stealths really now what they may be stepping into (if they plan to modify).

But that’s their problem. If they like their stealth, I love it.
