California deliveries are happening with P3D+. This was at the delivery center in Rocklin, CA. SA said as soon as they were unloaded, the owners were already there to pick them up. View attachment 486871

It cracks me up every time someone posts a picture of their Tesla they just picked up or a truck full of Teslas being delivered. We all like it, can't stop looking at it, and are desperate for our delivery. We're like boys who just discovered porn. Rofl.

It’s decided... I’m living in the Matrix...

My personal happiness and daily activities are now tied to a string of “source code”... Every DAMN DAY...

Deciding to order a Tesla is like picking between the “blue or red pill“...

Congrats to those owners that got their P3D+ in Rocklin today.

But goddamn, waiting since 10/9 for Fremont delivery and still no VIN :(
Same boat, but a few days after you. Ordered on 10/14. I understand that we don't understand their system, but my SA has been responsive and real informative. He said he sees a soft match for my car being there in Rocklin next week, for what it's worth lol.

Man, hope that is true, that would be awesome.

I texted my SA to see if there are updates a few days back and he said "soon, but will know more when VIN is assigned"

not sure how teslas delivery system works..but I would love to know why my white/white p3d ordered in september is coming after these (and many others)
lesson here is that order timing means absolutely nothing, as does location or trime. nothing matters..its completely random

so frustrating. I was fed BS from my SA from september telling me just couple weeks till vin. I think I may be the first east coast P3d order of the quarter and might get it last on the east coast. Yes..poor me..
but wtf seriously
If I remember correctly you got your vin last week with the first batch of P3Ds correct? I think the delivery timing comes down to how many cars are needed at certain locations, and cost to get them there. I’m not sure why, but the driver I talked to yesterday said all the cars to the Atlanta area are being trucked directly. It will all be over soon for all of us, I won’t know what to do with all the extra time, I’ve become an expert at understanding code!

P3D+, FSD, Solid Black, White interior
Alberta, Canada
Ordered on September 20
Received my VIN and delivery notification December 10 (today)

Spoke to the delivery centre in Calgary and she said the truck will be arriving on Monday, December 16 (if all goes well). Then they'll ship directly to my house in St. Albert (3 hours north of Calgary) so hopefully taking delivery on Wednesday, December 18.

I spoke with my delivery specialist today. I asked about panel gaps and delivery issues. He comforted and told me confidently that "Tesla has been doing way better this year with panel gap and quality issues - especially in the Scottsdale location." I didn't believe him at all and continued "So will minor gaps and blemishes be fixed before acceptance of the vehicle?" He said "if they're small, yes. Otherwise an appointment will be needed." Which I followed "Will that appointment take place this month or in around 90 days?" He did confirm it would take a while. about 4 weeks out to schedule an appointment to fix issues with the vehicle.

Don't worry, I didn't approach this conversation too harshly - I apologized for presenting concerns based on my online reading here and on YouTube. I explained I was just worried and want a good looking car for the price I am paying... but my concerns remain valid.

Do you guys have a game plan of how to handle delivery issues? If there are panel gaps, headlamp gaps, scratches, a seat heater not functioning, etc. Is it WISE to schedule an appointment potentially a month out to get those resolved?
