I ordered on August 23rd. I got a text today saying expected delivery is 1-3 weeks. Nervous to be honest.

Decided to give it a try and did the chat. Told me I have a vin assigned! This is what they told me.
“Congratulations! Your order has been assigned a VIN. Once your vehicle approaches its final transit leg, you should receive a text message with instructions for scheduling your delivery appointment. Your VIN will be reflected in your Tesla account once your delivery appointment has been scheduled.”

this is very exciting, finally some movement!

Thanks!! Can't wait! She told me the ETA is 9/19 but I hope it's sooner, I can't see it taking two weeks to come from California, or am I wrong and too optimistic?

Just got a text for early delivery pick up as well! Originally was scheduled for 9/10, but they said they would like to get it to me tomorrow! I have to call in the morning and schedule but I will definitely post some pictures once I pick it up guys! Wow can't believe it's almost here! I ordered on 8/3 so this is 5 weeks exactly.
