A recent development - a peculiar 'moaning' noise periodically emanating from the dashboard area of my M3 dual motor. It is most often audible when slowly rolling over a raised section of roadway, such as a small speed bump or a slightly raised section of pavement. I don't believe it originates from any of the suspension components; rather it seems to come from what in an ICE vehicle would be called the firewall area and sounds like two surfaces rubbing together as the car's body flexes slightly on an uneven surface. Any ideas folks?
