Permit Process for Tesla Wall Connector Install (Georgia - Dekalb County)

Hi,
Does anyone have experience going through the permit process here in Georgia? I plan on installing the wall connector but I want to make sure that I follow the necessary steps to get the permit. Appreciate any feedback or pointers.

I am in California so it may not apply, but in my case the electrician I chose to do the installation pulled the local permits.

Similar story here when we installed in Washington - electrician handled it all. We just had to be in for the city inspection that happened the day after.

Are you installing yourself? Pretty sure a licensed electrician has to do it and will pull the permits. Had Arc Angels do mine (in Milton)

I DIY-ed the install by re-routing the 50Amp electric dryer plug into the garage, and positioned the L2 charger right over it.
Took about 30 minutes and 2 beer brakes.

Permit process is usually managed by the local towns, so you would need to inquire with your city hall. Some places make this a mere formality, others can turn this into a project required pre-approval and post-install inspection.
