It looks like there are going to be two planned Supercharger sites in Perth within the next twelve months - one in Perth and this one in the northern Perth suburbs.

There was a hot rumor about two years ago that Alkimos was set to host a Supercharger station - which at 43kms from the CBD certainly fits the bill.
Given Joondalup's satellite city asperations - at 27kms from the CBD - it's pretty likely the Perth North Supercharger will be hosted there in favor of its more northerly cousin.

Flashback to the TOCA newsletter from April which said:

Tesla is also at work constructing new Supercharging sites to enable convenient fast charging at additional routes across Australia. Keep an eye out for new locations coming soon in Devonport, TAS; Toombul, QLD; Geelong, VIC; Yea, VIC; Perth, WA; Moe, VIC; Williams, WA and Colac, VIC.

Almost all of those are now accounted for - Perth being one of the remaining ones. Given Tesla's map now said North Perth Q3 2021 and Perth Q1 2022, perhaps possible North Perth locations should be the focus of any nosing about?

The Perth North Supercharger location has now been confirmed comprising six 250kW v3 stalls being installed in the underground car park of the Karrinyup Shopping Centre.

Lucky I didn't name the site "Perth, Australia" - could be confusing! (I think supercharge.info using state names for Australia originated because one of their first was the Richmond one in Victoria, and "Richmond, Australia" can be pretty ambiguous!)

It looks like all references to "Perth North" are now "Karrinyup" - on the website map, and the app too. This coincides with the new Coogee site initially appearing as "Perth South" a few days ago and changing to "Coogee". I guess they realised the naming scheme won't scale for much longer!
