I thought it would be longer than 4 days until the Granddog was invited into the Model S... I was wrong!

Oatie loves riding in Grandma's Model S!

Being a dog owner myself, does the dog's head hit the roof when the seats are in the down position? Also, when the seats are down, does the carpeting on the back of the seat extend onto the rear deck area. In the betas, there was a gap when the seats were down whereas most manufacturers have a sliding carpet section that covers the gap when seats are down. Thanks for a first look, my four legged friend will definitely be riding along with me in my S as well.

I don't put him into the car with the seats folded down. He sits on the back seat in all of our cars. If I get the chance to test fit him with the seats down I will.

There is a slight gap between seat and rear deck panel, but this is not big enough for my dog's paws. I would suggest laying a sheet down to cover this if you think it will be an issue.

Tommy, you should put your reservation # in your info above your avatar.
