PG&E and Rebate

here's an odd one. PG&E is now requiring my installer to come back out and video the installation to approve the Rebate. This is after PG&E themselves installed an NGOM meter and approved the installation for PTO.

SGIP usually requires an on-site inspection by PG&E after PTO and Interconnection, to verify that the equipment listed on the SGIP app was actually installed. But I presume that with COVID they will allow a video submittal as documentation.

My question is why don't they do the inspection when they were onsite for the PTO and interconnection?
You're right that they won't come back because of Covid, but make my installer come back at their expense

I assume that PG&E has different inspectors & departments for the SGIP piece and your PV/Powerwall install/PTO.
