A friend ordered a Model Y on Saturday, 4/18 using my referral number. I opened the Tesla App this morning and went to the My Referrals page and there was a
confirmation of the order, with her first name. But there was also a confirmation for another order by another friend of mine dated today, 4/19, with his first name. He already owns a Model S and he gave me his referral number when I bought my Model 3 in September of 2020. Anyway, I called him to congratulate him on his new purchase. But he said he hasn't ordered a new Tesla. So, what gives here? I expect to get 1000 free charging miles from the Model Y purchase, but I'm wondering if I will get another 1000 miles of charging from this second purchase that never really happened.
