Phone key ...door lock problems. with our 3 week old M3 rwd (it replaced our 2020 M3 rwd)
1. Is there a way so that EVERY time I approach the driver's door with my phone, the door will unlock? Right now, it automatically opens...literally...on the 1st, 3rd, 5th door openings; For the 2nd, and 4th openings I have to press the thumb button on my phone. Maybe: this problem is unique to my 4-5yo Samsung Galaxy s10e.
2. With our 2020 M3, when I approached the car, all 4 doors would open. Now, in order to open any of the non-driver's door, I have to open the driver's door, then, press the open-door button on the inside of the driver's door. Yesterday, I had chores involving 3-4 stores: after each one, I had to put stuff into the car. I nearly didn't do my last chore only because of the hassle of dealing with unlocking the front door (which opened into cars whisking by at 50mph) just so I could open the back door on the sidewalk side.
Any help with the above will be GREATLY appreciated.
BTW: for the 1st 2 weeks after we go the car, we didn't have any sensors that showed distances, either from a parked car or from a car in front of me when using intelligent speed control. After 3 years of having functioning sensors, not having them made the new car 'not fun.' The latest update enabled the cameras for sensing...the parking distances seem to be accurate; it seems like the camera that supports speed control needs to be calibrated.
