Phone Options for Tesla

So do you think Tesla will update our phone options on our vehicle soon? We should be ahead of everyone else, yet I can even get a notification in my car when I get txt or reply, etc. Car Play although I hate it, is a bit ahead of our vehicle today! Help Elon....Lets get ahead of these knuckleheads......

It will be interesting to see how Tesla handles increased event, text, and email notifications, or if it ever does. There may be too much of a liability placed on them by distracting the driver or allowing/tempting a driver to look at the MCU while driving. So I would assume that if they do proceed along these lines, notifications would be only voice driven.

Those of you who have ever driven a GM car have noticed that the driver cannot interact with the touchscreen while driving.

Thank you very much. Actually it’s not blacked out. It’s the natural look of the car. Love the color, wheel and tint. Makes the car look pretty good. Thanks again for the compliment.

I'm surprised. Picking up MS 75D next week.

My Ford Edge displays notice of text. Touch screen has a listen option. I can't read the text but can listen to it while driving.

Maybe I'll keep driving the Edge and give the Tesla to my wife.

Hah just kidding.
