Buddy living in Canada we don’t generally have the same level of security concerns tbh lol. If someone really wants my car more then I do…it’s all yours It’s fully insured. It’s a piece of metal…it can be replaced. I don’t worry about things like that. Not sure what one can take from my vin?

I wondered about this too… All VIN numbers for all vehicles are already online. Many new car dealers even show in their listing. I presume the theory is the VIN number is fine but it’s not good to know who owns the VIN number?

But now how do I find out who the heck is the real person behind our made up forum user names?

Lookin good! I get my car back tomorrow from ppf and tinting. I also have to wait ~2 weeks before I can put on the black badges and emblems. I am super super excited for tomorrow afternoon!

My Dad's car looks just like yours but its a Performance and has those tires and they suck lol. Cornering with Pilot Sports is amazing

There are plenty of places to get your wheels powder coated. I am picking up my M3 LR tomorrow and I have an appointment with Factory Wheel Republic in Huntington Beach to exchange my 19" Sport Wheels replaced with a set of satin black 19" sport wheels. They have them in inventory and will powder coat them for you in advance. Wheel Concepts in Camarillo also does powder coating as does Baid Polishing.

Did you apply PPF to the entire car? I'm debating whether I should do the full car or just the front.

I think it really depends. For me, I had to to the full car simply due to getting stealth instead of clear. If you go clear, I think the front and sides is good.

I don’t care what they claim… About their technology and I’ve looked into it I can’t risk just turning yellow or peeling or flaking I could never do this.

Nice! What wheels are those? Are you tinted as well? I need to get tinting done soon-ish. Also thought of wrapping the pillars black along with the tint to make it stand out from all the other ones.
