Took the first two were at Malibu Point and the second one was taken along the Kern River. There hasn’t been much else to do but drive for a while.

When the work place's "friendly" arms race goes electric. Any suggestions for my next move?

Very cool. Was wondering what a Taycan looks like compared to the Model 3. Per specs, it’s a few inches lower, and a few inches longer, IIRC. I think the width may be similar?

As a former 911 owner, I’ve had an interest in the Taycan 4S, but when you look at the specs, the Model 3 Performance is faster (0-60, 0-100, and top speed), and also has a better range. Also, lowest I could configure a 4S was $140k, ouch.

Most of the comparisons I’ve seen compare the Taycan to the Model S, probably because of price, but when comparing, I think the a Model 3 is a better comparison to the Taycan 4S.

Why? Taycan and Model S are much closer in exterior dimensions and acceleration (depending on model) than Taycan and Model 3.

Thanks. Was specifically interested in 4S, which is slower than the Model 3 (3.8 vs 3.2 in your table). I know the length was longer, didn’t realize it was 10+ inches longer. Wow, that’s a big car.

We need more electric “sports cars”. Tesla roadster sounds awesome, but pretty steep price wise. I would love more 2 door and either 2 seats or 2+2 seating options in electric. Under $100k, please.

A low-mileage second hand first-gen Tesla Roadster satisfies those requirements ;)

I agree with you though, there is nothing on the new car market or even short-term horizon at the moment. Would love to see an Audi TT electric or Cayman electric.
