Picked Up MY7 LR 03/24

I ordered a SR MY7 (Blue exterior, Black Interior, 19" Wheel, No Hitch, No FSD) on Feb 10. After a long wait, I called my SA and they told me Tesla won't produce SR 7 seaters anymore and I have to wait for the VIN match around May or June. Long stories short, I had to switch to LR MY7 last week and got delivery yesterday. This car has almost the same spec but a white interior and 20" induction wheel. It's also over my budget ($13K different) but I had no choice.

By the way, it has new center console, heated steering wheel, boombox, 1 year premium connectivity

So is the MY's made to order or just made in batches because it seems the blue is the color to have if you want a reasonable delivery timeframe. We had an blue MYP offered to us three days after placing our order, but my credit union did not have financing completed at that time, honestly I did not want the P and the 21 in rims, but we choose blue initially then changed to black on order day.
