Picking up S60 Today (9/21/16)

Ordered after a test drive in Indianapolis on July 14, built August 21 and picking up today.

Will add one more Tesla to the growing Louisville, KY 'fleet'.

Plan to use for all local and regional driving. We have good Supercharger coverage every direction except West (Evansville).

Also looking forward to planning some longer SC trips in the near future.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, I currently have 8.0. When I picked it up in Cincy I used Autopilot (7.1) up to Columbus then back home. It worked well.
Parked the Tesla and went on a camping trip the next day.
When I returned I loaded 8.0.
I just finished a trip to Myrtle Beach. Initially Autopilot 8 was pretty good, not quite as smooth as 7, but good. A few days into the trip it started wandering out of the lane quite a bit and eventually gave me a "Driver Services Unavailable". Luckily I was 6 miles from the Charlotte Service Center and took it in. They determined my camera was going bad and changed it out. Autopilot has been working well since the repair.
To me it feels a little skittish when it doesn't have a car in front to follow.
I'm starting to get more comfortable using it but I don't know if it's fleet-learning or me-learning.

Congratulations on your purchase! Seems like you live in a great location with Superchargers in most directions. Sorry to hear about your Autopilot mishap, I'm sure after time it will be perfected!
