Pickup and Multiple Bank Checks

I figured I would get a better response here than emailing my DS. My friend is most likely buying my used BMW off me and in order to save me from moving around money temporarily and selling investments, can he make a bank check to Tesla as part of my CPO purchase instead of me? I'd still also have a bank check from loan and another bank check from myself with additional cash I am putting towards my downpayment. I am in New York.

I figured he would just give me the bank check on the day of my pickup and and drive me with my BMW to get my Tesla and make it an easy switch.

We used a couple of cashiers checks for our purchase. I was told by our DS we could bring multiple checks. Not sure about anything 3rd party tho.

We used the electronic payment available on " my Tesla" on the web site.
We were able to use multiple accounts and did not have to go get bank checks from different banks.... saved a lot of time and was quick and easy
It also allowed us to do it the day of delivery without having to wait for clearing thru bank
