I get +1 bonus for the SolarCity backpack.
We need a Caption this... for @GJVR’s photo...
Kid: Whoa! A Tesla Roadster!
Lady: A what?
Kid: Ugh, never mind. Just gimme your phone! (takes phone)
That is actually what happened @Roadster. But first he asked if it was okay to take a picture.
I said fine, but only if I can take a picture of you too.
He even asked if it was okay to take a picture? Man this kid was raised right! Wish more people had the same courtesy
You are so right!
If I ever see them again I will tell his mom.
If you ever see them again, see if they can send you the photo so you can post it. We'll then need a new thread:
Pics of Roadsters from the people pictured taking pics of Roadsters
From today's SoCal Roadster Meetup...
The ultimate picture of other people taking photos of your Roadster. We were talking about this at the event.
Pic taken in the hot mess that are now the surroundings of the Bixby Bridge in Big Sur, Ca. on weekends. I don't know what this guy is taking a picture of... The VIN maybe?
I love that more folks are catching onto the rarity of the original Roadsters and making an effort to get the sequence number. Warms my heart.

Before I sold my beloved Roadster
The Morristown utility district sponsored an EV ride and drive today with over 110 people taking part. Very well run with about 12 EVs and the Roadster was the big hit as I gave 45 rides today and it did not disappoint. Most people took pictures and of course had the Tesla grin.
My first thought was that this should be posted to the "What did you park next to..." thread.
Pre show car wash
Dashcam captured this precious moment at the hotel destination charger yesterday.
I got to spread the EV love staring with Cars & Coffee and then an EV showcase event at the Heritage days festival.
