Picture of OEM black license plate on your model 3

If you have OEM black license plate, can you please add phots here? Looking forward to seeing rear of white one especially.

I have the black license plate frame and it feels of good quality. It's metal with a satin black finish and Model 3 spelled out in a slightly different finish. I like it more than not having a frame at all.

It’s very subtle. I like it but I don’t think others will notice it. It might not be worth it for most. Quality and finish is great. The lettering is not that noticeable though.

You can’t even tell when you’re 10-20 feet back or in pictures.

@Rohhee, not sure if you did it on purpose for your own reasons, but those tabs on top are designed to go behind the actual plate. It's a pain to fit it sometimes, but looks nice and clean.

Yeah because the paper plates move and rip too easily without pressing it down with the top tabs. It’s just temporary.

Thanks for photos! I think the plate on white will be more noticeable than grey colors like black/white.

Actually we have a white 3 with the same license plate frame. Let me get a pic later for you tonight when my fiancé gets back. It’s pretty much the same in a sense that it all black and hard to see the lettering.

Finally got a chance to take some photos. Few inside an indoor parking garage and a few on the street. Like @Rohhee mentioned, the letterings are indeed hard to see. You have to be looking at it at an angle

to be able to see it.

Did you use the screws that came with the temp plates? Any idea what size they are?

M5-0.8 x 6 mm. May need longer screws depending on what license plate frame you use.​
