Someone once posted that the worry is if you get in an accident that's your fault, your insurance company could use illegal tint as an excuse to not cover you fully.

If that's the case, insurance will never have to pay anything in So Cal. I think 7 out of 10 cars here have illegal front windows tint. Tint here is 88% for front window... 70% combine with manufacture tint. But most car got about 35% tint or darker.

Even here in Ventura/Santa Barbara area besides my family's 2 Model 3's, I am seeing an additional 2 or 3 other Model 3's around town every day. In Los Angeles I might see 4 in a day.

Yes. My Model S was very early, maybe that helped. Also, my location is beneficial. One received 12/29/17, other 2/2/18.

Got to see our first Model 3 today. I want to give a big time thank you! to @Mulligan Jake for taking so much time today with my wife and I - showing us the car and even letting us drive it! I almost missed my turn to extend the drive a little - it was incredible.

What a beautiful car! I have no idea what anyone could complain about, it was completely perfect to me. Simply amazing!
