Finally got my 3 tinted. Love it.

18% on the sides and back, and 50% on the windshield. I originally wanted 70%, but the roll didn’t come in in time, so oh well, it looks awesome.

Also put on the vinyl T’s I got from Nikola on Amazon. Did the front and rear badge, and the side camera bumps. Not sure if I want to do the T’s on the center caps or not yet. Also deciding on if I want to do the door handles.

Wow! Do you even need to wear sunglasses when you drive that darkmobile? I bet it makes seeing out of the roof a lot easier too. Less reflections of the sunlit interior.

WAY not legal here in California, and I kinda like others being able to see my expression in response to their horrible driving. Would be too much like a Hollywood Celeb to do up my car like that

I’ve only driven it twice since the tint but it’s nice. During the day I haven’t had to wear sunglasses and haven’t driven in any direct sunlight yet, I’m sure I’ll still have to wear sunglasses in those cases.

It’s illegal here in Missouri too, can only have 35% on the front sides, anything on the back, and no windshield.

Yeah, I was really impressed with that car when it came out. And I thought I would follow in my pop's footsteps and have it be the last car I get in this lifetime (Cadillac, not ELR per se). But then the reviews of what the actual engine sounded like when it came on. Yikes!

I have been lucky that my 2000 Honda Insight has continued to drive after the battery pack went flat, but I do think of hybrids as twin-engine airplanes, twice as likely to fail as an ICE or a BEV
