+1. I think they should've gone with traditional doors in the back. Still looks pretty good though.
Not since 2000 or so. In this day and age with media streaming providers around, it just comes across as amateurish. Sadly.A headline of "Demand for the live streaming Model X unveil was so much higher than anticipated that it crashed the servers" creates the impression of "better than expected interest" - investors seem to love it when anything is "much higher than anticipated"

Sort of looks like it pops up higher than the vents. I'm not a big fan of cars whose navi screens move up and down.

Does the S have a faux charge port on the passenger side too, or is that the charge port door?
Yeah I couldn't open those doors in my garage. Not enough head space. Not to mention the parkng garage. They won't make it like they currently are.

Well the body looks a lot lower than your typical SUV. I bet with the doors up it's no higher than a Suburban
Really good point (re: garage). I think a traditional sliding minivan door makes the most sense as they require almost no space at all above or to the side.

I'm not so much annoyed with the website. I'm not so much annoyed they (apparently) aren't spending the cash (or effort or whatever) to support video streaming.
I'm annoyed they touted the webcast -- after having had trouble in the past -- and then failing to deliver. It's a matter of setting expectations and not following up. And clearly not learning enough from past experiences to avoid repeating them.

Won't be able to open them in my garage either... and then imagine all the snow falling on your head when you open these doors (for those of us living up North)
