Pink slip?

Who has had their Tesla pink slipped, and have you any advice such as where to get it done etc?

Had another brand EV pink slipped last week. Any inspector of Light Vehicle can issue one. Make sure you have adequate tyre tread depth and you should fly through.

Inspector: "Mate, these brakes are like new"
Me: "because Regen"

Yes had all that when I recieved the 2nd model s in adelaide. Had to get a puncture fixed and the tyre guy refuses to let me drive it onto his hoist. So we did a deal, if he couldnt get the car to move without instruction than he’d take the learning opportunity. He got in the car, looked around, asked where to start it….I said its on already. He got out and told me to drive it onto the hoist.
Those were the days when mechanics asked “but who makes tesla”

Don't forget that in NSW (from your profile you are in Tea Gardens) you don't need a pink slip for re-registration if the car is under 5 years of age.

I had to get my first Pink Slip last year and I also needed 2 tyres.
I went to Jax where I get the tyres and they were able to do the pink slip at the same time.

I've had mine pink slipped twice. First time was just someone the Tesla showroom sent it to. Second time was my local tyre shop in Queanbeyan. Quick check over and a run up and down the street with an accelerometer measuring acceleration and braking. The tester came back with quite a smile

I need pink slips annually for Uber, even though the car is basically new.
