Hi guys,
I picked up my Model 3 last week, it's been amazing and loving every chance to drive it. I am still on a Pixel XL2, the phone has given me no issues in nearly the three years I've owned it, until now I guess. The car will simply not charge the phone.
I know it doesn't have wireless charging so I'm not trying that, when I plug into the USB-C ports or the standard car outlet socket, the phone will say 'charging rapidly' and just stay on the same charge % for however long I keep it plugged in. I have tried with regular wall outlets and my car charger in other cars and they all work fine, the phone charges normally.
Does anyone have a solution to this (other than upgrading my phone), or know why this is happening? I've also noticed when I'm streaming music from my phone or making a call via bluetooth, the Pixel's battery drain is significantly faster when it's going through this car from my previous ones.
Thanks!
