Plaid/LR Spacers on 19"s

When I ordered this car back in Jan, I had every intention of having aftermarket 20"s ready for it upon delivery, because I thought the 19"s look like crap. But since the change to black, I think they look quite decent now. But I would still like to push the wheels out. Has anyone used spacers on a plaid or LR with 19"s? If so, what size and do you have any rubbing issues?

I have a 20x9.5+40 square setup (same width and offset as the OEM fronts, and about 8mm more inboard in the rear) for my winter wheels on my Plaid, and used a 15mm spacer on the rear, so equivalent of +7mm vs OEM. Another poster here had much more aggressive 20mm spacers all around which get to the limit of fitting:

Make sure your spacers are hub centric at the 64.1mm diameter so they keep the load on the hubs and not the lugs.
