Ceramic Pro San Diego has been applying Clear Bra and Ceramic Coatings to Tesla Model S’s since 2014 and my how things have changed! We recently had the privilege of working on 2 of the first Model S Plaid’s delivered in San Diego County. One of our customers was gracious enough to allow us to do an in-depth video review of the new Plaid.

In the attached video, the owner Adam Cote takes his time to review all aspects of the new Tesla Model S Plaid. Adam is a current 2018 Model X P100D owner so he provides an interesting prospective of what the current performance Tesla has to offer that the 2018 edition lacks.

You will see that the car does not lack in performance! But, does the new Model S Plaid solve some of the past issues that Tesla has faced? How is the interior? Is the road noise improved? How is the new stereo? What other features have been added that stand out?

It’s also worth noting that both owners of the Tesla Plaids in this video are Tesla Enthusiasts who are aware of the issues that Tesla has had with paint quality. Both customers chose Ceramic Pro San Diego formerly known as 5 Point Auto Spa to protect and customize their Tesla’s.

These Tesla Model S Plaids received:

Custom clear bra paint protection film installations in San Diego on their front end to protect against rock chips and scratches. KAVACA Ceramic Coated Paint Protection Film was used.

San Diego Ceramic Pro Ceramic Coatings for Tesla Paint as well as on top of the clear bra was applied. The Gold Package was chosen by both clients to ensure that their Tesla’s stayed glossy and easy to maintain for many years. Ceramic Pro 9H and Topcoat were used.

Ceramic IR window film was applied to all glass panels to keep the Tesla Model S Plaid’s cool and to protect the interior from aging. KAVACA Ceramic IR was used on both Tesla’s in San Diego.

We also blacked out the remaining chrome emblems to give the Plaids the performance look they needed.

Enjoy the video!
