Thanks. Had that same work done and after four days my vibration returned, worse than before. May you have better luck.

I see your inovice, I got the same exact parts. I'm wondering if there is not also some adjustments on the motor mounts that they are not documenting. So far two of us have it solved. Thanks! Can you ask your SC if the DU mounts were touched at all?I see your inovice, I got the same exact parts. Well, it doesn't (fix the problem) in most cases.Ok, just dropped my car off and I was lucky enough to get the same tech that drove my car back in September. He stated that Tesla engineering is now authorizing the SC's to replace the half shafts to address this issue. He then stated that it resolved the vibration in a Plaid that was brought in a few weeks ago. Fingers crossed and I will update this thread when I get the car back.
Mine returned after only four days, and is worse than ever today.Picked up my car last night and the vibration is gone, drives like a completely different car. Now to see if this will be permanent or if it returns. Time will tell...
Can you confirm if it was front or rear half shafts replaced?Picked up my car last night and the vibration is gone, drives like a completely different car. Now to see if this will be permanent or if it returns. Time will tell...
I can repeat the issue over and over, i might have a completely different issueDecelerating? Never felt it then...

Had the same parts replaced, exactly. It’s a very short lived fix, or at least it was for me. When you take it back next time, they will tell “no further repairs are recommended. Normal characteristic of the Plaid model specifically…”Here ya go!

I posted my invoice a while back. The quotes above are there for a reason!Normal.... what a crock!
It’s normal until they have a fix, which in the case of the pre-refresh S/X “shutter” issue, lasted years! BOHICA.Normal.... what a crock!
Based on city were you at the Tampa Service Center? Who did you talk with there? I'm brining mine in for other stuff next week and I'd like to reference your case if you don't mind. Feel free to PM me on the side. Here ya go!

EDIT: You also have same configuration I had that I let the allocation lapse. Wonder if you bought my build? LOL. Did you get yours in September?
Are you in the Tampa area?1400 miles on my new shafts, still no vibration
Have same issue. MS Plaid delivered in September, vibration showed up about 800 miles ago, car now has about 4800 miles. Have been watching tire pressures. Service appt. Jan 5.Really not liking this discussion. Anyone else pick up a car with this problem?
