Plano Service Center coming soon

I've heard now from multiple Dallas SC technicians that the Plano Service Center is nearing completion.

They mentioned times to be open ranging from early to late summer 2018.

The location is supposed to be next to Classic BMW on Dallas North Tollway and Spring Creek. I'm not sure exactly where, but it sounds like they're refurbishing an existing building.

This will be a great addition for those of us in North DFW.

Less concrete is that they said Tesla is "considering" (rumor) a service center in Fort Worth and Southlake in the coming years.

I drive by there on the Tollway every day. Lots of space and some construction going on. If we can narrow the location down a bit, I'm happy to drive around a bit and scope it out.

Drove by just now.. drove right past their “security”... also drove around back. They constructed a total of 3 bays. One says service — the other two are blank. Presuembly 1 in/out service bay vs. the 1 total for Dallas and of course, delivery

Edit: Dallas sc guy said it’s opening early next month!

In about 15-20 years when the dealers start closing one by one, Tesla can snap them by the cheap and turn them into service centers and galleries. They are all in prime locations anyway.

First the factories, next the dealer show rooms.
