Play MP4 movies from SSD while parked/Theater mode

    Anyone have any success playing MP4 movies stored on SSD plugged into a front USB port similar to Theater mode?

    Is it not possible to use embedded (Chrome) browser for this ?
    1. Use construction like 'file:///C:/folder/file' as URL ?
    2. Use <cntrl> + <o> magical keystroke that is available with Chrome on PC?
    Anyone any experience with adding USB keyboard device to USB port?
