Hi there. Got Model S after small accident (driver airbags deployed). When get into drive mode, 12v dies immediately… so want to check pyrofuse. There is a lot of video with tesla 3 pyro replacement, but 0 info about model S…checked under back seat and under hood, but couldn’t find it.. any advice? Big thx

I don’t know if this is any help but I remember it’s been discussed previously that if the car has been in accident and the safety features have deployed then there is one circular shape fuse on top of the 12V battery (blue colour on the first photo) that can be pushed back in. So worth to try.

the crap on top of the battery is the old location for that *sugar*. when they moved the DC DC converter from the wheel well to the firewall they also moved a lot of the other crap around. I think the pyro fuse was on the HV battery, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure there is a big ass fuse in one of the orange plastic cover spots.

finally found that bastard...its under air filter in fuse box....
Alright pal, what pyrofuse did you change? I’m having same issue with my 2016 MS but I have changed the small pyrofuse at the end of the fuse box. So I’m thinking it has to be the pyro on the main battery side under the driver side?? Any help would be appreciated.

*Update* mine was just a blown 10A fuse that powers the solenoid for the contractors 👍
Sorry didn’t respond earlier… was too busy and waiting for that fuse (attached pics)

So I’m a bit confused… that fuse I bought has no continuity and on my car same thing… so my question is on that pyro fuse should be continuity or not? (Bought it on ebay, maybe they sold me bad one?)

I’m glad you found solution for your one!

Do you know between this two terminals should be continuity?
