This is a win for Tesla as the standard and long range are available with the new grant but the new Jaguar iPace starts at 60k I believe so you won't be able to get the grant for this now.
LR is £50,500 right now. LR as is (no options) is excluded from the grant. The prices Tesla put on their ordering page are inclusive of the existing £3,500 grant.

I would expect Tesla to adjust the price of this one down slightly, but who knows.

The tesla website shows £47,990 before savings on the LR (no options)

Thank you everyone who has the background info. I ordered 6/2 so can only hope/pray that its been applied for as above.

I had my finances all lined up for this and dont like last minute surprises!

There are a load of panic merchants on facebook right now who need the reassurance of this knowledge!

The Tesla website prices include the (currently £3,500) grant though, and the £50k threshold is the list price.

I completely forgot about the documentation fee, I wonder if that's counted against the £50k threshold...

Yup, thought as much.

Well I do wonder how much investigation of current UK EV model lineup was done by the government, to establish available real world use and pricing to arrive at this arbitrary £50k?

I'd say it's worth checking with Tesla on inventory cars? Not sure if a grant can be applied before actually sold but you never know.... Or arguably, you could purchase a car before midnight tonight and cancel if you can't get the grant.....

Bugger that means that the cost of the lease of LR will probably go up, that said I am likely not ordering until July anyway so hopefully Tesla bump the price down by £500 :)
