My Tesla's T must have been hit directly by a flying rock (ugh)... It left several noticeable scratches right on the T. I want to just take some mother's polish to it, but I read somewhere that Tesla says NOT to use metal polish on the chrome. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also, it should be worth noting that I already tried using some carnauba wax on it & buffing with a microfiber to no avail :(

Chromed items are the worst. I just noticed my Tesla license plate frame is getting ready to shed its coating already after only 1 year ugh. Thankfully it's just the accessory.

For damage to chrome in the past I've used chrome spray paint, spraying it onto folded paper or paperboard and then applying with a fine point (eg bamboo skewer) to fill. The chrome spray paint has some metallic / pearl to it, not exactly giving you the same chrome effect but giving you the general right shade.

Then again these days there might be a better fix, maybe Dr. Colorchip has something... I just used their touch up paint kit this morning on some new hood chips.

Best to buy a new one from Tesla. It's not a high price item.

I had both my "Ts" wrapped. Took 5 min and was about $5.00 each, so far have been unscathed in a year and a half. Of course I had other items done too (door pulls, etc)

It's the new refresh. Pretty sure it's not as easy. It's a big thick piece of metal attached to more metal. (Seems like one pretty decent sized piece)

Pearl White to match my car. Brembo Red on all 6 brake calipers and front and rear T's and the word TESLA across the trunk. All suttle, not too flashy

Sure, I have a great picture of the car, but will have to wait for a grand-kid to get it here. I barely got into this site after a few years

Here is the best picture I have. Forgot to mention, I also have the T in the steering wheel wrapped in red, but I'm the only one who see it

Looks great! Love the wrapped handles. Do they wrap the entire handle or just the face?

They wrap the entire pull, so it looks good when in the "presented" position. Seems to be holding up very well even when my car wash hits them with the air line.

No spoiler, just a standard truck. Must be the angle you see
