Sorry not convinced. The savings isn't in the material, which might be the same or even more, it's in the lack of expensive dies, so depreciation expense for manufacturing equipment is minimal. It also appears that assembly will be less expensive and faster as well. I do agree that battery cost will be part of it.Despite the saving from more simple structural design, you have to remember that the Cybertruck is much MUCH bigger than even the Model X. I really doubt that the metal frame/chassis in Cybertruck is cheaper than Model S or X in terms of the overall structrual/metal frame/chassis cost.
