Is there presently any way to monitor battery health and degradation either through the car's digital display or manually?
You can install our site as a web app on your iOS device by utilizing the Add to Home Screen feature in Safari. Please see this thread for more details on this.

How difficult and how much time did it take to replace the battery yourself? Did the replacement battery come from Tesla or is the 12 V a fairly generic battery?
2014 Model S 85 - 2yrs and 4 mos old with 69k miles and original 12v battery.
No issues and I hope I didn't just jinx myself.
When I called the service center, the soonest appointment was a little more than 2 weeks away. I specifically asked if it was OK to keep using the car normally, and they assured me I'd be fine. And it was indeed fine. (My car is nearly 3.5 years old with ~41,000 miles, and I just had the battery replaced for the first time a week ago.)When it says "replace 12V battery soon" I assume it's ok to continue driving for a couple days until I can get a service appointment, or is there risk of the car suddenly dying?
