I am in the first group of non-employees to configure and after 5 weeks have yet to hear a thing about delivery nor even receive a VIN.
I guessed about 500 in my group and 1100 employee deliveries to date with more out of state to come.
So various bottle-necks continued to slow the machine all through this month. I hope they get to 1000/week soon. I hope I get to see my Model 3 within 7 weeks of configuring (around Jan 11).

I have.
On Dec 6 and Dec 21.
I heard back from the DS on Dec 6 that without a VIN they can't tell me anything about delivery.
I reached out again on Dec 21 and heard nothing back.

Yanno, reading comprehension is an art.

Delivered < Produced. Good thing I re-read the title.

One would expect a bunch - perhaps as many as 1000 - to be in some form of transit either from the factory else to owners.

So those will provide a bump for Q1 to also offset some of the expected annual factory closure.

Meanwhile, hmmm... if delivered is 1,000 less than produced... I’ll have to reduce my estimate from 3,001 to 2,001.

Wonder if they’ll break 27,500 total units delivered for the quarter...
