[POLL] How much more do you plan to spend vs what you've spent on your previous cars?

I'm along with what looks like the trend at $10-$15k.
My most expensive car purchase was a used car, but it was an M3.

Lucky for me I'm the prefect age for the mid-life crisis so I can justify the extra expense.

Off topic - is there any level of irony for any former or current M3 owners? Moving from M3 to Model3 ...I dunno...

Kind of funny. I have always been a fan of the BMW M3. Always wanted one. When the Model 3 started to become called the M3 it made me happy for that reason alone. Now that I know so much more about the model 3 (yet not enough ), I personally think that the Model 3 is an even better choice than the M3 (certainly for me)

Over the last 15 years I've owned 3 cars that I purchased for a combined $2,900. My preferred 3 configuration - with a full tax credit - would put it at $42,500. That doesn't mean I'm stretching to afford it, though.

I'm not necessarily stretching, but the most I've paid for a car before this is $2000...so by the time I configure I will have paid more before getting the car than I have on a car total before.
