If tried to configure a model 3 as closely as possible to the currently available launch edition (LR, PUP) in 5 years from now in 2022, how much will it cost? Today, this configuration costs $49K and includes:

• 310 miles of range
• Premium heated seating and cabin materials throughout, including open pore wood décor and two rear USBs
• 12-way, power adjustable front seats, steering column and side mirrors, with custom driver profiles
• Premium audio system with more power, tweeters, surround speakers and subwoofer
• Tinted glass roof with ultraviolet and infrared protection
• Auto dimming, power folding, heated side mirrors
• LED fog lamps
• Center console with covered storage and docking for two smartphones

Obviously it won't have the same options exactly, but do your best to speculate. If you think there are significant forced base model upgrades worth mentioning (extended base range, included standard AP, included 1,000 A charger ), please comment.

Probably worth mentioning that other manufacturers will be coming to the table with their offerings and Tesla will likely feel some competitive pressures that they currently do not really have today.

Tesla will no longer be building cars. But a seat on the launch edition to Mars on Spacex will cost $49,000.
