POLL - LR RWD actual increase in range, or just software BS?

No change in range for me. The power increase is only at high speed and it’s not enough for me to be able to feel it.

Peak power was at ~42mph, with the boost that may have moved out to around 45 mph.

I charge to 85%, 274 miles, that ~325 miles of range. I have a LR. 2019 8.5

Might be placebo but I feel like I noticed the power increase. My tires are slipping more!

I usually keep the battery level display at percentage and not range, but when I swapped it over to see what it says now, it shows 290 after charging to 90%. That projects to 322 at 100%. (I remember it was 279 at 90% before, projecting to 310.) I'm on 8.5 and didn't check when it was 5.15. I agree with the majority and don't think they made anything more efficient--just re-calibrated the software to show what the car was already capable of doing.

My tires are also struggling for grip when before the update they did not. I'm always hard on the accelerator so I know that's a new thing. I'm old enough to remember when Tesla claimed the Model S 40 had a 160 mile range, which was more like 120 and displayed as 145.
