I didn't answer the poll because I'm not sure one way or the other. If the base Model 3 has less than 238 miles of range, that would feed the trolls predicting doom for Tesla, but the Model 3 will almost certainly be the best selling BEV in the US very soon after introduction and the Model 3 will have things the Bolt doesn't like the supercharger network and it will be a much larger car and should be more comfortable.
The Bolt has bragging rights as the first inexpensive 200+ mile BEV, but it's not being mass produced, the charging network is spotty and there is a lot TBD about it, and it is a pretty small car.
If the base version of the Model 3 is less range than the Bolt, I think most people will put it in a relatively short list of cons if comparing it to other BEVs in the same price range. (It's a given the Model 3 is going to be inferior to the much more expensive S and X and most other expensive BEVs, but that's a different market. Not too many people cross shop BMW 7 Series and Toyota Corollas either.)
