That will be nice for folks exploring attractions along "Route 66". Tesla has had the route, basically today's I-55->I-44->I-40, Supercharged for a while now. But for non-Teslas there are still some significant gaps. (The worst between Barstow CA and Flagstaff AZ. PlugShare shows EA finally has a couple under construction there though.)
If I were running a DC fast charge network I'd absolutely consider placing CHAdeMO adapters at each site that wasn't co-located with a Supercharger site. EVgo has been experimenting with a few of these here in California. Unfortunately the three EVgo test sites here in Silicon Valley are either co-located, or very near, Superchargers.
Also makes me wonder if PlugShare should have a filter selection for "CHAdeMO + Tesla adapter" to allow folks to easily find these sites.
