I just got my 2021 M3. Is anyone else annoyed at the poor Infotainment integration with a smartphone? I was expecting at least to see music playlists, podcasts, albums, artists lists etc. A 10 year old Honda Civic has better integration in my opinion. I think it is a safety distraction if I have to grab my phone every time I want a different playlist.

Yeah I get the safety distraction is on me. Still doesn't change the fact that a 10 year old Honda Civic has a better smartphone integration.
I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything about the car/device setup.
It's pretty poor. Lack for group text messaging and lack of CarPlay/AndroidAuto are my biggest gripes. Local music playback isn't an issue as I stream everything and they do support Spotify "fairly" well now. (Though it still has it's problems)
