I plan to get a portable air compressor to check and adjust tire pressure with more regularity than I have done with my previous cars. I was looking at the Viair 00073 70P Heavy Duty Portable Compressor on Amazon. The product features section indicates that the car must have "a 15-ampere minimum power port rating." Does anyone have experience with this product? Anyone know what the power port rating is for the cigarette lighter on the S?

Some related discussion here at least about the product Tesla sells
    Tesla Tire Repair Kit details

Don't know the details about the outlet on the Model S though.

It's the very same model that I use, and it does work on the Model S's 12V port. It's a great compressor, it's fast, light, and does a great job!

Thanks Dave, it looks like my question was about the 12V port was answered on that thread.
