I designed and built a carbon fiber portable curbside charger for my Model S but there's no reason why it wouldn't work with a Model 3, for which there may be much great need for this kind of charging station in condo developments or apartments. See this thread for more info and some photos. At the moment it's a one-off unique to yours truly but If there's enough interest it might be possible to manufacture these in volume.
