Scrolled back a long way but couldn't find a thread! It looks like Lisbon will soon get a Tesla store: 11 Rua Professor Henrique Barros 2685-338 Prior Velho Google Maps
Tesla is finally here, video one Tesla facebook: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10154951518467801 (You have to login to see it) And the site is available in portuguese now and you can choose Portugal as your country!
Maybe this will do: https://www.tesla.com/pt or this: Tesla Stores in Portugal | Tesla Tesla does not yet show the address, although andrerodpt does show it from another source. This is exciting news, for Brazilians too, since Tesla will already have Portuguese (more or less) language prepared and will not need to do it twice. Now we need those Superchargers that are shown for 2017 on the Tesla map.
Tesla is finally oficially in Portugal. What a great day. Tesla officially launches in Portugal today, opens Model S/X orders and announces new Superchargers We were already ordering Teslas throught a stakeholder, an excellent company of electric vehicles called Zeev. I've ordered recently my S90D through them. We have more than one hundred Teslas circulating in the country and many of those are thanks to Zeev. Now waiting for the three superchargers. LOADING ...
I'm aware of this. But that service center is a Zeev project (multi brand dealership that imports Tesla). Not a Tesla one. We still don't know where it will be located. Nor the store. Grande abraço para esse lado do Atlântico!
That is interesting. That is not a good place for a Tesla Store considering the high-end profile they seem to prefer. I would expect a store in a much more high profile street, closer to Lisbon downtown. But if it's for a Service Center, then it makes sense. Very close to the airport, great highway access. Maybe I'll drive by today to check it out...
Will do. But it will be night time. And if I know the area, there isn't a lot of public lightning. But I'll see what I can do.
There you go. As far as I can tell, it looks like the headquarters for EVpower (http://www.evpower.pt/). Maybe Tesla are using them as a temporary office until they have their store and service center. Maybe it's where they are conducting the interviews to fill those needed spaces. As far as I know, so far Tesla has only one Product Specialist. Btw: behind those garage doors I could see a Renault Zoe. No sign of a Tesla anywhere.
I don't know if anyone noticed but the Map has been updated and has a Store location in Lisbon along 3 destination charging locations. I tried to look at it in Google Maps but could not see anything. But it's is not the same location that was spoken here. Can someone get us a shot of the place if there is indeed a Tesla Store there?
Em relação a Tesla Portugal eu criei um grupo no FB para este mesmo efeito: Tesla club Portugal o grupo é moderado por mim. Para os interessados no tema Tesla em português.
As far as I can tell, it's not there anymore. It's here: Google Maps At least it's from there I'll be test driving a Model X next Saturday. Let's see if I can get the sales rep to talk about future plans in our country.
Small update on Tesla operations here in Portugal, as far as I could understand from the short conversation with a Sales Representative last Saturday. - They have a huge backlog of test drives. Around 3000. - No news on the Store location, besides with will be downtown Lisbon and with a Service Center next to it. If you know Lisbon, that reduces the number of locations if we consider it will have some scale and Tesla prefers highly populated dense locations. - Right now they have available 6 cars for test drives - 3 X's and 3 S's. At least a grey X 70D (the one I tested), a black X P100D and a red S P90D. - The end of the 60D gives a huge blow in Portugal market, since with was very "tax friendly" for corporate buys. Besides that, I was told they are exceeding sales expectations. And that's it. Btw: fell in love with the X...
Aqui onde vivo, a Tesla abriu a loja e o service center numa antiga loja de outra marca qq, acho q era a volvo. Em lisboa pode ser parecido.
