Possible Misaligned Trunk/Issues Closing

Occasionally my trunk will feel like it is difficult to close. Normally the trunk is very free-moving and goes from completely open to closed without any issue, but randomly the trunk will have an issue closing from a completely open position. It feels as if the hinges are "pushing back" when i try to close. Interestingly enough, if I let the trunk go back to completely open, it seems to correct itself.

My lid does appear to be slightly raised/uneven on the passenger side and the mobile service guy told me they do have procedures for adjusting/special grease available.

Has anyone else experienced this weird "push back" i'm attempting to describe?

Yeah I have this randomly.

I can only assume it's the struts seize up - for me it happens for the "first half" of closing (i.e. going from fully open to half-open).

You can buy after-market struts if it's a total pain - ebay sells them - just make sure the length matches.
