I don't have twitter so i can't tweet this to Elon, and i don't know if it has been discussed before.

Given that most cases when you are towing something, range will be severely impacted, why not allow the car to charge while driving? I'm guessing it would be fairly easy to fit a generator (or hydrogen fuel cell eventually) to the front of a trailer, and use it to charge the vehicle while it is moving. Could also be useful for the Cybertruck since you could probably fit something in the back. Since the car can also charge while driving via regenerative braking, it seems like could be possible, and allow extending the range? It would be great for the Semi too since you can choose to carry the extra weight only if the range is needed.
