Can you change out standard range battery to long distance in Model 3?

I have never heard of Tesla offering this on a Model 3. Some out of warranty Model S 60 have been offered larger battery packs, but only when the original pack has failed. The cost is substantial.
In normal circumstances, if you need a car with a larger battery pack, you should sell your car and buy one with the battery size you want.

No (not on model 3, at least not that I have read of anywhere).

Battery is mated to motor in software... third party could swap the larger battery AND the motor out of a LR AWD in theory but can't imagine it'd make any financial sense compared to selling it and buying an LR car
